Building Act
Article 52-2 [Interior architecture] ¨ç The interior of buildings corresponding to the purpose and scale determined by the President shall be constructed with a structure and materials that do not interfere with fire prevention and do not cause problems in the safety of users. ¨è Standards for the structure and construction method of interior architecture shall be determined by Ordinance of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. ¨éThe Mayor of Special Self-Governing Cities, Governor of Special Self-Governing Provinces, or the mayor/governor/head of Gus shall inspect whether the interior architecture has been properly installed and constructed in accordance with paragraphs 1 and 2. In this case, the building to be inspected and its project cycle shall be determined by the Building Ordinance. [This article was newly inserted on April 28, 2011] Article 111 [Penalty] Any person who falls under any of the following subparagraphs shall be punished by a fine not exceeding KR\ 50 million. Enforcement Decree Article 61-2 [Interior Architecture] the term "buildings corresponding to the purpose and scale prescribed by Presidential Decree" in Clause (1) of Article 52-2 means any of the following buildings: 1. Multi-functional architecture 2.Buildings pursuant to Article 3 of the Act on Sale of Building Units [This article was newly inserted on November 28, 2014] Enforcement Regulations Article 26-5 [Standards for the structure and construction method of interior architecture] ¨ç The structural construction methods, etc. of indoor buildings pursuant to Article 52-2 of the Act shall comply with the following standards. A door stopper to prevent safety accidents such as collisions and jamming shall be used for protrusions in the interior. ¨è Details regarding the structure and construction method of interior architecture under Paragraph 1 shall be determined and publicly announced by the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.
